Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am so excited to begin another great year of teaching Kindergarten! We are going to have so much fun and learn a lot! :)

King of ing!

We learned about words that end in -ing this week and made 'King of ing' crowns with all of the -ing words we could think of written on them!

Maryland Science Center Field Trip

We had a great field trip on Friday to the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore!

Eating 3D Shapes

We got a chance to review 3D Shapes by eating foods shaped like cylinders, cones, cubes and spheres (tootsie rolls, hershey kisses, caramels and chocolate whopper candies)

Goods & Services

We have been discussing goods and services in social studies this week. The children got into small groups and made a poster advertising a service. These boys created a poster advertising a lemonade stand. Other students chose services such as a car wash, dog walker, babysitter, etc.
