Thanksgiving

To celebrate Thanksgiving this week, we made turkeys for our classroom bulletin board yesterday! We have also been talking about the first Thanksgiving and doing some fun Thanksgiving-themed math activities!

Beginning Sounds

I made a new reading station activity for the class this week. They must find the beginning letter for each of the fall words and match it up to complete the word

Plants

We are talking about seeds and plant life this week and are studying the life cycle of a carrot today. We will talk about the life cycle of a bean plant tomorrow and pumpkin on Thursday!

Landforms Unit

We studied landforms this week and discussed various types of landforms such as mountains, volcanos, islands, hills, etc. We made a neat craft that illustrates some of these!
